Dragons in any form is good.
Although someday I'd like to see repaints of the originals.

Let?s start today?s UPDATE off with a bit of clarification regarding the Dragon?s Revenge line which we announced a few months ago.
After seeing the initial reaction from our fans and retailers when we announced we would be branching out with an all-new series of action figures based on an original mythology created by Todd in which dragons and man live side by side an ancient, forgotten world, we thought a second release in which the dragons were given different paint schemes would be well-received.
We actually still feel that way, but everyone involved had such a great time creating the first series and, to be honest, we were all extremely happy with the final product, that it was decided to instead focus our energy on developing a new set of dragons for an entirely new series to be released early next year.
?Couldn?t you do both??
Not if we wanted to get the second series out in early 2006. Our current scheduled is jam-packed with new figures from a wide range of upcoming lines and a decision had to be made as to which direction was more important at this time. We chose to go with the new series as opposed to the repaints.
?When will McFarlane?s Dragons 2 be released?? As I stated above, early next year. Beyond that, I can?t say just yet.
Will there be dragons from as yet unknown clans represented in the second series?? Can?t say.

I can?t say. We are still in the developmental stages of this line and at this point nothing can be discussed, but have patience and all will be revealed before you know it.

I'm glad they're wainting for the repaint line. I wouldn't have bought same fig tice "back-to-back".
And some new fig are always welcome!

Now having a set of repaints (including series 1 and 2) after a 2nd series would be awesome...
I definitely like the idea of all new sculpts better just because people like me who custom paint these type of figures (As soon as I get my health problems cleared up a bit, I'll be back to regular painting) will be doing so in droves as it is. So I will be thrilled to get a second set of sculpts.
